Econodata Dashboard Redesign
Brief
Econodata is a platform for corporate data intelligence, helping businesses find leads and drive growth.
I focused on reshaping the user experience to better meet the needs of B2B professionals who rely on data-driven insights. Through research and analysis of user interactions with the existing platform, I identified opportunities to improve usability, streamline workflows and create a more intuitive interface.
The Challenge
The challenge was balancing data complexity with simplicity, using clear hierarchies and tested layouts to ensure usability.
Ensuring consistency across diverse data points required a cohesive visual language for clarity. To ease user transition, familiar elements were retained while guiding adaptation to the new design.

The Solution
In redesigning the Econodata dashboard, the primary focus was on creating a user-friendly, efficient, and visually appealing experience to meet the needs of sales teams. Key improvements included:
Simplifying navigation to make data more accessible, reducing clicks, and enabling faster decisions.
Improving Information Hierarchy
Enhancing Usability
Modern and Professional Visual Design
Updating the visual style with modern, polished elements to convey reliability and professionalism through clean aesthetics.
Focusing on key sales metrics with a clear structure for quick analysis, plus dropdowns for streamlined navigation and improved user experience.
Customizable Dashboard Layouts
Allowing users to customize dashboards to prioritize key metrics, enhancing engagement and meeting diverse needs.
UI Design
I focused on creating a clean and uncluttered aesthetic, using a balanced color palette, intuitive typography and consistent spacing to enhance readability and usability.
The design not only reflects Econodata's reliability but also aligns with its mission to provide seamless access to actionable data, reinforcing trust and efficiency for its users.
Engaging users at the very start of the process could uncover pain points and opportunities more effectively, shaping the design direction from the beginning.
Closer coordination with the development team during the handoff could ensure smoother implementation and fewer adjustments during development.
Conducting usability testing at multiple stages would allow for quicker identification and resolution of potential issues.
Considering a broader range of user scenarios and edge cases could make the design even more robust and versatile.
Outcomes
The dashboard redesign taught me valuable lessons on refining processes and collaboration. Next time, I would involve users more deeply and improve alignment across teams during design and implementation. What I might do different next time:
